Kincardine Man Launches Petition Against the Sale of Hydro One

A Kincardine man has launched a petition asking the province not to sell off part of Hydro One.

Cory Campbell's petition at change.org tells Premier Kathleen Wynne that the sale is short sighted, and will cost the people of Ontario more than it will save.

He says the privatization of the crown corporation will lead to higher electricity prices for citizens and businesses.

He adds the Ontario Government has a history of privatizing taxpayer assets that ultimately end up costing taxpayers far more than any short term funds gained.

So far over 31,000 people have signed it.
