South Bruce Prepares For Busy Summer

South Bruce Mayor Robert Buckle says 2015 is shaping up to be a busy year in the municipality.

Numerous road and bridge work mixed with improvements to other core services will mean lots of work in the summer.

Buckle says they want to get started on the process of replacing all the streetlights with more energy efficient units.

Similar LED lights are being installed in other municipalities throughout the region, with eventual savings estimated at over $100,000.

Council is also working on upgrades to the water system at the Formosa Lions Park, which currently can not provide service.
