Perth-Huron United Way Raise Record $1.15-Million

The Perth-Huron United Way's 2014-15 campaign raised a record $1.15-million for the organization.

Officials announced the total of $1,153,536 at a gala in Stratford on Thursday night.

HPUW's goal for the campaign was $1,170,000

They say the total is the most they have ever raised in one campaign.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
