Fatal Crash In South Bruce

One person is dead and another is injured following a two-vehicle crash in South Bruce.

The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police says on Friday around 6pm, a green Chevrolet collided with a white international stake truck at the intersection of Bruce County Rd. 28 and Huron-Bruce Rd.

The driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The identity of the driver is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin.

Police say the road has been closed while officers conduct their investigation. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
