Only Dogs With Active Tags Allowed at Bluewater Dog parks

One of the councillors for the Municipality of Bluewater has clarified some misinformation regarding dog parks in Bayfield and Hensall.

It had earlier been stated that dogs using the park would have to have a Bluewater tag, which would prohibit cottagers and visitors from using the dog parks.

Councillor Bill Whetstone clarifies all dogs will be required to have dog tags and that's being done to make sure they have shots for things like rabies. But Whetstone adds the tags could be from their home community.

They still don't have locations for the parks in Bayfield and Hensall. Whetstone says once that's done, they'll hold public meetings and establish rules and guidelines from the input they get at those meetings.
