Goderich To Host 2016 OSUM Conference

Next year's Ontario Small Urban Municipalities conference will be hosted by Goderich.

Mayor Kevin Morrison was successful in applying for the 2016 conference and in getting Premier Kathleen Wynne to commit to attend.

Morrison credits Goderich CAO Larry McCabe, who sits on the OSUM board, is instrumental in getting the conference for Goderich and stresses it will be a Huron County event that is being held in Goderich.

He adds it will be a great chance to show off the rebuild after the Goderich tornado as well as all of the attractions in Huron County.

Morrison has committed to contacting all of the mayors in Ontario's small urban municipalities to try and get as many of them to the conference as possible.
