OPP Say Stolen Truck Involved In Springmount Crash

Grey County OPP officials say a stolen pickup truck was involved in a crash in Springmount Thursday.

Officials say officers observed the grey 2011 Dodge Ram travelling northbound on Highway 6 through the Township of Georgian Bluffs at around 10:30am.

Officers noted the vehicle had been reported from a Cayuga residence earlier in the day.

When the vehicle failed to stop for police and proceeded through the intersection of Highway 6 and Grey Road 17, police say it collided with a red 2010 Dodge Ram.

Police say the driver, a 29-year-old male from Cayuga, and a passenger, a 20-year-old male from Brockton, were apprehended.

The two occupants of the red Dodge were not injured as a result of the collision.

Charges are pending as police continue to investigate.

No injuries were reported.
