Results Of Environmental Tests Around Nuclear Facilities Now Public

Results of environmental testing of water, food and other parts of the environment around nuclear facilities in Ontario, including Bruce Power, is now available to the public online.

The Independent Environmental Monitoring Program, or IEMP, was developed by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. It's a program conducting independent sampling of the air, water, soil, sediment, vegetation, and some local foods around nuclear facilities.

A digital map shows what was tested and where. That is followed by a chart with several columns including sample types, parameters, results and expected health impact.
