Successful Clean Sweep In Saugeen Shores

Eighty volunteers pitched in to help clean up Saugeen Shores in late April.

It was part of Clean Sweep events between April 19 and the 25. It involved several area groups that went out to help clean parks and waterfront areas.

30 bags of garbage and six bags of recycling materials were collected, along with 38 bags of compostable materials.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
