Arrest Made In Connection With Death On Saugeen First Nation

Police have arrested one person after the body of a man was discovered at a residence on Saugeen First Nation.

The Ontario Provincial Police says officers responded to a residence around 5:15am on Thursday regarding a dispute and discovered the body.

The cause of death is unknown at this time and the identity of the deceased is not being released pending notification of the next of kin.

A man from Saugeen First Nation has been arrested in connection with the death.   Police have not released any information about possible charges and say the investigation is in the early stages.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
