UPDATE: Police Charge Male, Identify Victim In Saugeen Murder Investigation

Bruce Peninsula OPP have charged a 19-year-old Saugeen First Nation man in the death of a man on the reserve yesterday.

19-year-old Jesse Farrhas been charged with second-degree murder.

Police have also identified the deceased as 66-year-old Robert Johnson.

OPP officers responded to a residence at Saugeen First Nation at around 5:15pm on Thursday regarding a dispute and discovered the body.

Police say they are performing an autopsy on the victim to determine the cause of death.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
