Hanover Police Investigate After Youth Asked To Enter Couple's Vehicle

Hanover police are asking for the public's help locating a couple they believe tried to get an 11-year-old boy into their vehicle on Thursday.

Officials say the boy was walking in the 300-block of 17th Ave. at around 4:30pm when he was approached by a male and female in a black Mercedes car.

The male and female reportedly asked the male where he lived, then offered him a ride to another town. The child declined and left the area.

Police describe the two adults as approximately 20 years old, wearing dark hoodies.

Anyone with information about this interaction is asked to contact Hanover Police or Crime Stoppers.
