Fire Destroys Erin Warehouse

The Wellington County OPP Crime Unit is investigating the cause of a late-night fire in the town of Erin.

Fire and Emergency Services were called to Leitch Fuel Limited on Main Street in Erin around 9:15 last night. A storage warehouse used for furnace parts was destroyed. There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire has not been determined. The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall was contacted. An investigator may join the OPP Crime Unit in the search for a cause.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
