Huron Collective Impact Summit Registration Deadline

A Community Developer with the Huron County Health Unit describes this week's Huron Collective Impact Summit as an attempt bring together several sectors of the community to address common, but complex concerns.

Janice Dunbar explains it's very difficult to solve complex problems if several different groups are operating independently. But she says if they can collaborate on issues they can accomplish a great deal.

The Collective Impact Summit is being hosted by Tamarack and will take place Thursday from 8:30 till 4:30 at the Central Huron Community Complex.

People can register by contacting Laurie Saggers at the Health Unit. Her number is 482-3416. Registrations have to be in by the end of the day today. There is a 75 dollar charge but Dunbar says there are bursaries for those that require them.
