The West Region OPP Forensic Identification Services and the Ontario Fire Marshal are investigating the blaze that broke out at about 9pm Sunday evening at Leitch Fuel Limited.
The building on Main St. was used to store furnace parts.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
