Goderich Beach Street Station Restaurant Prepares To Open

The Beach Street Station Restaurant on the shore of Lake Huron in Goderich is set to open in the early part of June.

Herb Marshall started moving and then converting the old CPR station into a restaurant about two years ago and he's overcome considerable obstacles in the process.

Marshall explains they'll start with a soft opening while the work out the wrinkles and solidify their menu.

They will start with seating for 75 on the deck and 100 inside and then expand to include 110 seats on a lower patio and another 100 seats in a lower banquet room.

An official grand opening will be held in October.
