2 in Hospital after Collingwood Fire

An early-morning fire in Collingwood sent two men to hospital. The blaze broke out around 4:30 in a building on Saint Peter Street in Collingwood.

Firefighters were quick to rescue two men who were not able to get out on their own. A 49-year-old man and a 67-year-old man remain in hospital in serious condition.

The Collingwood OPP Crime Unit is assisting the Fire Department with the investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
