Bayfield's Declining Sewer Capacity Delays Development

The lack of sewer capacity is holding up new development in the area around Bayfield.

Bluewater Mayor Tyler Hessel told council last night it's become a serious issue because the area around Bayfield is growing fast, but there is no capacity left.

Hessel adds they can't wait two years to address the problem. They are hoping water from eaves troughs or sump systems is not getting into the system but that's one possibility they'll have to look at.
