SWEA Moves Forward

The Chair of the Southwest Economic Alliance says the organization is ready to move forward with a new focus and direction.

John Grace of Goderich explains the last six months have been difficult, and SWEA was at a crossroads heading into the annual general meeting.

Going forward, SWEA will focus on regional economic development and research, and will advocate strongly for rural economic development. SWEA will also take advantage of partnerships with colleges and universities to help with research.

Grace points out the re-birth of SWEA is a process and he believes most member municipalities are supporting them.
