Port Elgin Men 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes' Sunday

Some of the more adventurous men in Bruce County will be walking down the main street of Port Elgin tomorrow(Sunday).

These men will be 'strutting their stuff' in red high heels, as they support the Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event to raise awareness of the need to stop violence against women.

Registration is at noon at the Queen's Bar and Grill in Port Elgin. The walk will start shortly after 1:00.

This event will support Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey. A similar event in Owen Sound next Sunday will support The Women’s Centre Grey and Bruce.

Last year's events raised over $20,000 for the two shelters.
