A Workplace Wellness Seminar in Stratford Aims to Increase Productivity

Southwest Region Public Health Units are joining forces with community partners to host a Workplace Wellness workshop this week in Stratford.

Huron Public Health Promoter Annie Lukacsovics explains consultant Graham Lowe will outline some of things that go into creating a supportive environment in the workplace.

She adds that includes a healthy lifestyle choices, policies that reduce stress and encourage communication in the workplace and in the end result in happier and more productive employees.

And Lukascsovics points out the payoff for the employer is a more productive work place.

The workshop runs from 9:30 'til 2:30 at the Rotary Complex in Stratford on Wednesday. Registration is necessary and that can be done by calling the Huron County Health Unit.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
