Chatsworth Barn Fire Damage Adds up to $500,000

A barn fire Saturday night near Chatsworth destroyed over 500-thousand dollars of milking equipment.

Emergency crews were called out to the blaze on Hwy 6 and 10 around 8 p.m. There was no livestock in the barn at the time but the milking equipment was destroyed .

The cause of the fire is currently unknown but Grey County OPP says it does not appear suspicious.

Inter-Township Fire continues to investigate and the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office has been notified.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
