Wellington County OPP officers were called to a home on the Tenth Line around 9:30pm last night and found the body of the woman.
The victim has been identified as 82-year-old Elizabeth Fischer.
Her 82-year-old husband, Frank Fischer, has been charged with second degree murder.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for tomorrow.
