Wheel Flies Off Car Into Truck In Georgian Bluffs

Grey County OPP has called for an investigation by the Ministry of Transportation and the College of Trade after a wheel separated from a vehicle that had recent tire work done.

Police say the front drivers side wheel flew off as a '98 Mercedes was heading southbound on Hwy. 6 and Hwy. 10 in Georgian Bluffs around noon Tuesday.

It struck a 2015 Toyota Tundra pick up truck which sustained extensive damage.

There were no injuries.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
