Hurontel To Open New Kincardine Office, Major Fibre Optic Network To Follow

Hurontel will be opening a new office in downtown Kincardine in the next few weeks. It's in advance of a major fibre optic network installation for the town.

Weber Contracting of Clifford has been awarded the contract and will employ a number of Kincardine and area residents for the project.

The first stage of construction is to bury conduit underground along the roads. Locator flags are one of the first signs that a crew and equipment are close.

Digging along municipal right-of-ways will continue through the summer and fall as the crews and equipment move through Kincardine neighbourhoods.
