Grey Bruce Tetanus Victim's Health Improving

There's good news about that child from Grey-Bruce, who is suffering from Tetanus.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit says the child's condition is improving in a London hospital, and the child has been moved from ICU to a pediatric medical bed.

The child had been listed in critical condition on Friday.

Medical Officer of Health Doctor Hazel Lynn says the child contracted the disease from a nail puncture in the foot. She says the child had not been immunized.

Doctor Lynn says this is the first recorded case of tetanus in Grey Bruce.
