Huron Habitat for Humanity Marks 10 years

Habitat for Humanity of Huron County celebrated its tenth anniversary Sunday afternoon with an indoor picnic at the Stanley Complex in Varna.

Habitat has built one home a year in Huron.

Murray and Eli Ward of Seaforth moved into their home in 2010.

Eli describes the difference as finally having a home. She says before that they had a house but it wasn't a home.

Murray Ward says one of the biggest differences for him was having some freedom in his own home. He no longer had to ask for approval for anything they did with their house.
