Pickup Stolen in Chatsworth Township

A Chatsworth Township resident is without his pick-up truck after someone stole it from his residence early this morning on the 5th Sideroad at Highway 6 in Williamsford.

Grey County OPP say the victim heard his dog barking about 5:45 this morning but didn't notice the truck missing until just after 7:00 a.m.

The stolen vehicle was described as a grey-blue, 2006 GMC Sierra diesel pick-up truck with Ontario commercial plates 1341JK.

It had a custom made grill with the business name “MSD” on it.

The truck was equipped with a 5th wheel attachment.

Police believe the vehicle was driven from the scene, heading southbound on Highway 6.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
