Fanshawe College and the Town of Goderich have entered into a new agreement on property in the new Kingston Block on the Square.
The town will lease 1,500 sq ft from the owner of the building, and will then sub-lease that property to Fanshawe College.
Goderich CAO Larry McCabe says Fanshawe will be able to move their current programs from the McKay Centre into larger quarters and create one large classroom.
There is a possibility of additional smaller classrooms for more business courses, which may be ready for the fall.
McCabe says the Goderich BIA is also involved with a capital contribution for the lease-hold agreements with the Fanshawe College Foundation over two years
