Avon-Maitland Students To Get Report Cards

Elementary students in the Avon-Maitland District School Board will be getting report cards with marks but no comments.

In a news release today, the board's director, Ted Doherty, says teachers will be providing marks for each subject assessed this term and the school's administration will enter the information. Public elementary teachers are in the midst of a work to rule campaign.

Earlier today, two of Ontario's largest boards, Toronto District and Peel District, announced parents of their students will get letters confirming their child's placement for the upcoming school year.
