Supporters Of Fire Safety Campaign Recognized

The Ontario Fire Marshal's Public Fire Safety Council is recognizing the Perth-Huron Insurance Brokers Association on June 16.

It's for the work done with local fire deparments in supporting messages about carbon monoxide and farm fire safety.

Late last year, a video was put together by Perth East and West Perth fire departments highlighting the need for carobon monoxide detectors in a home.

The Perth-Huron Insurance Brokers Assocation will be recognized at the Fire Safety Awards on June 16 in Toronto.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
