Car Speeds Through Rockford, Crashes In Owen Sound

Police in Owen Sound have charged a 20-year-old Kitchener man they allege crashed a stolen vehicle after being spotted travelling at a high rate of speed in the Rockford area.

OPP officers first saw the 2015 Nissan Sentra on Hwy. 6 and Hwy. 10 travelling north towards Owen Sound.

After attempting to stop the vehicle, officers called off the pursuit citing safety reasons.

Once the vehicle entered Owen Sound, police say it lost control and struck an unattended vehicle.

Police say the man then fled the area but was soon arrested.

Investigators determined the Nissan was stolen from the Kitchener area.

20-year-old Bryan Noble faces numerous criminal charges including driving under suspension, possession of stolen property and flight from police.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
