Don's Journey Of Hope Beginning Soon

Don's Journey of Hope is about to hit the road again.

Wallaceburg's Don Wells starts out Monday to tour southwestern Ontario to raise money to fight childhood leukemia. Wells made two previous tours on a motorized scooter that included Owen Sound and other Midwestern Ontario towns.

The 65 year old is battling cancer himself and recently broke his leg.

"It's not about me, it's about the people we try to help, and hope and pray that people don't have to suffer anymore. I guess, in a way, I'm suffering and God's always behind me and I thank people in my life that were there when I needed them the most," says Well.

He starts his latest tour Monday in the Chatham, Wallaceburg, Windsor area.
