UPDATE: Teen Charged In Hit And Run Near Tobermory

Bruce Peninsula OPP has made an arrest in a hit and run on Hwy. 6, just south of Tobermory Friday night.

Investigators say a grey or blue four-door Mazda struck a man riding his skateboard near Chi Sin Tib Dek Rd. at around 11:30pm. The driver fled the scene.

The injured man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police have since arrested a 19-year-old North Bruce Peninsula woman, who is now charged with failing to report an accident and failure to yield from a private driveway. She will appear in Owen Sound court next month.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
