Over 700 Cars Partake In Mount Forest Car Show

The chair of the 17th annual Mount Forest Kin Club Car Show says the show is a testament to the power of volunteers.

Phil Myers says here were at least 700 classic cars and trucks at the show on Saturday, which was put on by 14 Kin Club members.

"We're growing every year," Myers tells CKNX News. "For a little town it's doing exceptionally well, and it's great for the community spirit and what-have-you."

A 1952 MG owned by John Burgess of Harriston won the Mayor's Choice Award at the show, which is part of the annual Mount Forest Fireworks Festival
