Infrastructure Money For Hanover And Owen Sound Group

Hanover is receiving over $116,000 from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.

The town will put the money toward the rehabilitation of the Hanover Regional Aquatic Centre and upgrades to the P & H Centre. The program is based on how close to construction the projects are and if there are other sources of funding. They must also link to Canada's 150th Anniversary.

Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller made the announcement today.

“I am very pleased to see that the Town of Hanover will be receiving a significant amount of funding to support upgrades at the Hanover Regional Aquatic Centre and the P&H Centre,” says Miller. “These recreational facilities are both popular and very important to residents of Hanover and the surrounding area. I look forward to seeing the completion of these upgrades.”

Miller also announced today $10,000 for the Roselawn Bowling Club in Owen Sound for clubhouse renovations.
