Area Fire Bans Being Lifted

The list of communities lifting open air fire bans is growing.

Thanks to recent rains and cooler temperatures in the extended forecast burn bans imposed last week are being lifted.

Hanover and Brackton are the latest municipalities to lift the ban.

Earlier today the Municipality of South Bruce lifted its total burn ban that included Mildmay, Carrick, Teeswater, Culross, Formosa and Belmore.

The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula has also removed its total fire ban.
