Internet Not A Doctor Replacement

As we get older we tend to experience more aches and pains, and for some of us it's very tempting to turn to the internet to diagnose those problems - sometimes so we can tell our doctor what the problem is when we get there.

The C-E-O of the South West Local Health Integration Network suggests while there is a wealth of information on the internet it should not be used as a substitute for our doctor.

Michael Barrett advises if there is a persistent problem there are risks in waiting too long and people should turn first to their doctor if they believe they have a problem.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
