Bluewater Strategic Plan Meeting In Hensall Wednesday

Public Strategic Planning meetings are now underway in Bluewater.

The first in the series was held last week in Zurich, and this week's meeting is tonight (Wednesday) in Hensall.

Mayor Tyler Hessel explains they're planning for the next 10 to 20 years and they're looking for public input into what people like about Bluewater now, what they don't like and what they'd like to see changed.

The municipality has hired consultant Bill Irwin who facilitates the meetings by asking a few questions and then encourages residents in the audience to carry the discussion while he takes notes.

Hessel adds he hopes Bluewater residents will take advantage of the opportunity to have a say in the future of their municipality.

There is a complete schedule of meetings on the Bluewater web site as well as an opportunity to submit comments by email.
