Grey County Chooses New C-A-O

Grey County has a new C-A-O.

Kim Wingrove was selected to take over the top job at the county after the previous C-A-O resigned last January.

Warden Kevin Eccles says they originally had 54 applicants, but Wingrove stood out because of her background in municipal administration and economic development.

"We're on a push right now with economic development and she brings a lot of that experience with her and comes highly recommended from all sources that we were able to tap into, a very sound and savvy individual," said Eccles.

Wingrove's most recent position was with Guelph- Eramosa Township.   She officially takes over as Grey County C-A-O September 28th.
