Show Dogs Take Over Owen Sound's Harrison Park

Some of the top show dogs in Canada are in Owen Sound this week.

The Grey Bruce Kennel and Obedience Club is holding its annual dog show.  About 200 dogs a day, along with their handlers, are put through their paces over the three day show.

Show chair Suzanne Anest says spectators are welcome.

"It's fun to come down and see all the varieties, we have a hundred different varieties of dogs here so we've got your small chihuahua to your great danes and everything in between, whether they have short hair or long hair, they're all here," said Anest.

The Grey Bruce Kennel Club dog show runs through Thursday at Owen Sound's Harrison Park.
