Bruce Power Scholarships Awarded To 100 Students

Bruce Power rewarded one hundred post-secondary school students with a $500 boost for their education.

The annual Bruce Power Scholarship recognized the students at a breakfast today.

President and CEO Duncan Hawthorne presented those in attendance with their certificates during the event.

“Bruce Power is proud to play a role in the post-secondary education of these impressive students from Bruce, Grey and Huron counties,” Hawthorne said. “Our Scholarship Committee had a very difficult job of picking only 100 winners from an unbelievable crop of over 300 applicants."

The selection committee was comprised of 10 Bruce Power employees from a variety of departments and levels.
