Attempted Robbery At Mac's In Stratford

Stratford police are investigating an early morning robbery at Mac's Milk Convenience Store involving three masked men.

Police were called to the store at 422 Huron St. at about 3:40am.

A visibly shaken employee told them three masked men arrived in a blue/grey Dodge Ram truck and approached the clerk, who managed to scare them off.

The mid 90's truck was last seen heading west on Huron St.

Police say the men never gained entry to store, and the employee wasn't hurt.

At this time, police have no suspects and are actively looking for leads in this case.

The driver was described as being approximately 6' tall with a stocky build wearing dark clothing.

The passenger from the truck was described as approximately 5'10", stocky build, again wearing dark clothes.

A third male stood up from the rear bed of the truck was described as approximately 5'8", stocky again, wearing blue jeans and white shoes, again with dark clothes

Police ask anyone who may have seen anything to call 519-271-4147 or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
