Bluewater Councillor Wants People Wearing Brighter Colours At Night

A Bluewater councillor has raised concerns about the clothing some people wear while walking or cycling through Bayfield after sunset.

Dave Roy says he's often encountered people walking their dog or riding their bike dressed completely in black or very dark colours.

That makes it very difficult for drivers to spot them, because of the dark background of trees and bushes.

Roy is hoping some public awareness or education will change things and pedestrians and cyclists will start wearing brighter clothing at night.
