Dundalk Town Hall Future Up For Discussion

Dundalk residents are going to have to step up if they want to save the Olde Town Hall.

The historic hall is in need of expensive repairs and Southgate council has been struggling for several years to decide what to do with the hall.

Councillor Dale Pallister said it is going to be up to the community to take the lead role, and not council.

A public meeting will be held in September.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
