Post Secondary Students are getting a back to school primer today at Georgian College in Owen sound. The Get Connected pre-Orientation event offers the ABC's of the institution including Activities, Basics and College Services. Students can also get a taste of reality with Surthrivor: How to survive and thrive at college. There will also be sessions on being an empowered student supporter. There will also be information on OSAP, line of credit, bursaries, awards, scholarships, employment and insurance. Plus a tech tool box covering software, email, online courses.. The pre-orientation runs 9am until 3pm Thursday at the Owen Sound Campus at 1450 8th St. East.
