Man Late For Wedding Charged With Racing By Huron OPP

A Nova Scotia man late for a wedding is now facing a racing charge from the Huron OPP.

Officials say they  Toyota Corolla was travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 21 near Kintail just before 5pm on Saturday.

Officers recorded the rented vehicle travelling at a speed of 133 km/h.

A 25-year-old Truro man has been charged with racing a motor vehicle.

He’s set to appear in a Goderich courtroom on September 15.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
