Planning Underway For Future Of Wellington Healthcare

Over 1,100 people answered a survey about what works, and which improvements are needed in the health system in Waterloo Wellington over the next three years.

The Local Health Integration Network is developing a three-year plan, and wanted input from residents and health care providers about the strengths and weaknesses in the system.

The information will be consolidated to create a high quality integrated health care system at the local level for residents.

The board has identified four planning areas for the region, including Rural Wellington, and Kitchener,Waterloo,Woolwich Wilmot and Wellesley.

The other two areas will be Guelph, and Cambridge - North Dumfries.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
