Man Dies After Falling Into Chatsworth Lake

Police are investigating the death of a Windsor man whose body was discovered at Walker Lake in Grey County after his canoe capsized.

The Grey County Ontario Provincial Police says emergency crews were called to the lake on Veterans Rd. S in the Township of Chatsworthon Thursday around 5:38pm.

Mahmound Ghannam, 49, of Windsor was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a life jacket when the canoe capsized.

A post mortem examination is to be scheduled.
