Goderich Shoreline Inuksuks Prompt Debate

The Mayor of Goderich says rumours that liability issues are forcing the town to remove the Inuksuks that have been built along the beach are premature at best.

More than 100 Inuksuks decorate the beach and Kevin Morrison says he likes them.

As to the liability issue, Morrison says it will be discussed at the next Goderich council meeting and if it's determined that there is a liability issue, it will be dealt with then.

Morrison adds the Inuksuks are actually sitting in an area that small children are not likely to play in because it's very rocky, which is why the Inuksuks were built there.
